The Biblical injunction that it takes two to walk together except they agreed, is what happened between Nkenie Andrew Essien and Edidiong James at Ataimkpat village in OnnaL.G.A when the two decided to join in marriage.
The event which attracted friends, associates, in-laws and people from all walks of life, saw the bride family treat their in-laws and guests to traditional UdiaIbenge.
The Chairman of the occasion Otuekong Nse Edem, the Permanent Secretary Bureau of Political, Legislative and Water Resources said, marriage was instituted by God and is honourable. He said couples should see themselves as one and implored Nkenie and Edidiong to follow suit.
The bride and groom who were ushered in with pomp and ceremony were later joined traditionally.
